Up to the last minute the organisers were concerned that the entries for vegetables and flowers would be down from previous years after the extremities’ of the drought this year. But the wonderful growers in the area came through as always for an excellently attended show.
They also, at the last minute realised that they could help benefit the Cancer UK Charity by supporting the decorate the bra class challenge with donation and public voting ability and donating the takings for the raffle to the same pot. So far over £500 have been collected. No 1 was the public vote winner.
